Pick keepers, fast.
CULL is a small desktop app for the part of photography nobody enjoys: going through a shoot and deciding what stays. Open the folder, judge each frame with one key, and the verdicts are already in Lightroom when you import.
Not released yet. For Windows and Mac; works with Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, Leica and DNG files.
The whole method is four keys.
Enter keeps a frame. Backspace rejects it. F marks a favorite. Hold Space to look closer, at the point the camera focused on. Bursts are grouped for you, and when you are done, one command moves the rejects out of the way.
Nothing happens to your files.
CULL reads the preview your camera already put inside each RAW file and never touches the image itself. Keep and reject are written as the flags Lightroom uses, a favorite gets a purple label, and it all sits in a sidecar next to the photo, or inside the file for a DNG. Import the folder and it is sorted.
Eight RAW formats, from Canon to Panasonic. What each one gives.
